Jan. 1, 2026 - Refratechnik Holding GmbH announces that on January 1st, 2026, Prof. Dr. Franz X. Spachtholz joined the management board of the Refratechnik Group. He takes over from Mr Michael Frei and will be seated in Munich. Previously, Prof. Dr. Franz X. Spachtholz worked as managing director of Baymag Inc., which is part of Refratechnik Group. In his new function, he has group-wide responsibility in the areas of Production, Purchasing, and Integrated Management Systems (IMS) as well as the Global Technics department. Prof. Dr. Franz X. Spachtholz comes with many years of experience as head of complex organizations as well as the management of large international projects. With his expertise and strategic competence, he will lastingly strengthen the Refratechnik Group's management. Refratechnik Holding GmbH thanks Mr Dr. Michael Frei for his long-standing service and his acknowledged contribution to the Group.

Refratechnik Steel GmbH announces that Mr. Mark Runge assumed the position of Chairman of the Management Board with effect from November 26, 2025. Mark Runge comes with many years of experience in the refractory business, and before that he was active in various national and international management positions. Hereby, he acquired comprehensive expertise in corporate development, internationalization, innovation control, and sales. In his new role, and together with the existing management team, he will promote the strategic future development of Refratechnik Steel GmbH, with particular focus on sustainable growth, customer orientation, higher efficiency, and digitalization. With the appointment of Mark Runge, Refratechnik Steel will strengthen its management structure as well as specifically aligning it with future market requirements. Simultaneously, Refratechnik Steel GmbH thanks the previous managing director, Prof. Dr. Helge Jansen, for his many years of commitment and his significant contribution to the company's successful development. In particular, his efforts in the fields of research and development have made a lasting impact on the success of the company and the entire Group. Prof. Dr. Helge Jansen will continue to be available to the Refratechnik Group as R&D Coordinator on the Holding level.

Refratechnik Asia announces that Mr Andrew Ollier took over the position as managing director on July 1st, 2025. Hereby, he succeeds Mr Christof Kilb. In his function for the Asia Region, Mr Ollier is responsible for the areas of Sales and Marketing as well as Research and Development. Andrew Ollier is a trained metallurgy engineer and comes with extensive management and sales experience in the cement and steel industries. His career with Refratechnik started in Hong Kong as Technical Sales Manager for Refratechnik Asia. Subsequently, he moved to Refratechnik Cement, where he acted as Area Sales Manager and Key Account Manager. Thanks to these many years of experience within Refratechnik Group, he brings founded know-how of markets and customers as well as technical expertise into his new role. Simultaneously, we thank Mr Christof Kilb for his many years of commitment and his significant contribution to the build-up and successful development of Refratechnik Asia as an important part of Refratechnik Group.
